Welcome to the SHEA Foundation Giving Tuesday 2025!
Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of generosity — a day when people everywhere come together to make a positive impact. It’s about more than just giving; it’s about building a community of support, kindness, and hope.
For the SHEA Foundation, Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of a season dedicated to supporting our shared mission - advancing the fields of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship through education, research, and global collaboration.
This year, our goal is to raise $2,000 to fund:
• Awards and scholarships at SHEA Spring and IDWeek, recognizing leaders, researchers, and trainees in healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Strengthening the SHEA Research Network, expanding collaborative research and advancing high-impact studies that improve patient safety and infection prevention.
• Supporting International Ambassadors, who bring infection prevention and stewardship practices to communities around the world.
Every contribution — no matter the size — helps shape the future of safer healthcare. Join us this Giving Tuesday and throughout December to Give for the Future of Prevention.

Grand Prizes
Donate or fundraise $250 or more between December 1–31 to be entered into a drawing for one of these grand prizes:
• A free one-year SHEA membership
• A ticket to the Foundation Reception at SHEA Spring 2026
If you are unable to attend in person, an equivalent gift will be provided.
• Lunch with a SHEA Leader at SHEA Spring 2026
If you are unable to attend in person, a virtual lunch will be arranged.
Giving Tuesday Prize
Donate on December 2 for a chance to win a SHEA - branded quarter-zip sweatshirt! All Donations are Eligible!
Winners of both the grand prizes and the Giving Tuesday prize will be announced in the winter edition of the SHEA Foundation newsletter.
